"Castle Ravenloft is easy to get started with, our first game took only 90 minutes, even with interruptions. The rules are simple enough for the game to be played by, in my opinion, a child of 10+ but the subject matter may make some parents decide it is unsuitable for children of this age.

The game can be a bit easy but the randomness of each game brings you back for more as does the fact that the multi-player adventures are great fun to play. This is in a large part due to the games simplicity, which means you won’t spend halve the game looking up or debating rules.

Finally the novice gamers opinion. My wife is not a gamer in any way shape or form and here is a her in depth analysis of the one game we played together. Ready? OK, here it is: “It’s better than Talisman.” Now, this is praise indeed as Talisman is the only board game outside the run of the mill I can ever get her to play…"
